Authorities Wednesday announced 14 arrests stemming from an 11-month undercover investigation into alleged firearms and drug-trafficking violations by an East County outlaw motorcycle gang.

"Operation Blue and White" targeted members and associates of the Peckerwoods club, according to the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Announcing the results of the probe at a midday briefing were Davy Aguilera, assistant special agent in charge of the Los Angeles Field Division of the ATF, and San Diego County Assistant Sheriff Earl Wenworth.

During the operation, undercover ATF agents purchased one stolen firearm, methamphetamine, marijuana and a variety of pills, including Vicodin, Oxycodone and Percocet, authorities said.

Those arrested face a variety of state charges, including illegal possession of firearms, sales and distribution of narcotics, assault likely to cause great bodily injury, commercial burglary and possession of stolen property.

In addition to those taken into custody today, nine state search warrants were executed. As a result of those actions, agents seized an additional 24 firearms, including assault weapons, handguns, shotguns and rifles, 1.5 pounds of marijuana, two dozen cannabis plants from a grow house, 600 tablets of Oxycodone, 100 tablets of Percocet, 50 tablets of Vicodin, and 1.5 ounces of methamphetamine.
