May 9, 2007 Dr. Dennis Nigro has been a continuously active member of the Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas medical staff since Oct 1, 1979 where he has served as chief of plastic surgery from 1980-86 and 1988-present.
Our medical staff credentialing process evaluates physicians for clinical judgment and medical competence. We are not aware of any allegations involving the hospital and cooperate fully with the Medical Board of California whenever such questions arise.
