The parents of the 7-year-old Monday announced a $25,000 reward for information leading to the safe return of their daughter, the presumed victim of a kidnapping.

Later in the day, San Diego bail bondsman George "King" Stahlman announced he is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever may be responsible for Danielle's disappearance.

Standing outside their Sabre Springs home Monday, Damon and Brenda van Dam held a large poster bearing a photograph of their daughter and touted the cash incentive for tips in the case.

"I hope this will motivate someone who knows where she is to step forward, return her to us or help us find her," Brenda van Dam said.

The van Dams said that they pooled the funds themselves, with the help of family, in hopes of generating "any legitimate information" that can lead to the return of their missing 7-year-old.

"Somebody out there knows something they're not talking about, and we just thought that maybe this money might motivate them," Brenda van Dam added.

Last week, a Beverly Hills-based charity called the Millennium Children's Fund announced a $10,000 reward for information leading to Danielle's return. Douglas Pierce, founder of the agency, said Monday that the reward remains on offer, based on pledges he has received from donors.

Danielle's parents also appeared on CBS's "The Early Show" and ABC's "Good Morning America" to discuss their reward offer.

Asked about published reports that they have engaged in spouse-swapping, the couple expressed regret that anyone would focus on anything other than their daughter's whereabouts and safety.

They dismissed any suggestion that their lifestyle could have been a factor in her disappearance.

Meanwhile, police continue to search for Danielle and are following up on the 250 tips they have received so far.
