UPDATED: 7:16 am PST February 12, 2007

A water main break in the San Ysidro area flooded some homes Sunday, 10News reported.

The 12-inch cement pipe broke shortly before 3 p.m. at Willow Street and East San Ysidro Boulevard, said Tedi Jackson of the San Diego Water Department.

Water was shut off for homes and businesses on three to four blocks, she said.

Water may also have been shut off for homes on Olive Street, said Jackson.

Water crews were investigating the cause of the break and whether any homes flooded on Willow Street, Jackson said.
