Bicyclist Hit By Car At Camp Pendleton

Victim Airlifted To Hospital

A bicyclist was seriously injured Saturday when he was hit by a vehicle in front of a Camp Pendleton entrance, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The accident was reported at 9:24 a.m. at North Las Pulgas Road and Interstate 5, in front of a Camp Pendleton entrance.

According a military police report, it was a non-military vehicle that hit the cyclist, said Lt. Curtis Williamson of the Camp Pendleton Public Affairs Office.

The bicyclist was airlifted to a hospital.
