The 17th annual Wings Over Gillespie Air Show takes to the skies at Gillespie Field this weekend in El Cajon.

The show is a must-see for fans of historical military aviation.The B-17 and B-25 will be there and, new this year, attendees can also see a race between a 57 Super Corsair and a Spitfire.Air show organizers say the show is bigger than ever and provides a real boost to the local economy.This years show commemorates the centennial of Marine Corps aviation and the 70th anniversary of Gillespie Field.Copyright Do you have more information about this story?
