ESCONDIDO, Calif. - A man is at an area hospital Friday after a crash in Escondido.
The crash occurred at 11:15 p.m. Thursday.
Initial reports indicate that a group of street racers were gathered at the parking lot of San Pasqual High School. When a patrol car approached, they took off.
The injured man was trapped in his car for over 45 minutes.
