The average price is 3.3 cents less than one week ago and 26.6 cents lower than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

However, the average price is 13 cents higher than one month ago, partially because of a 12-day streak of increases immediately before the dropping prices began.

The average price has fallen 4.1 cents over the past 11 days, including six-tenths of a cent on Saturday.
