A new app can help drivers remember where they parked.

The Honk app for iPhone and iPad alerts drivers and keeps track of as the time ticks away on parking meters.

"Simply swipe your finger across the meter to set how long you plan to park. As you quit Honk, it will mark your parking location on the map, and when the time comes to head back to your car, it will honk you,"  according to Honk's App Store description . "On your home screen, its icon will also display the remaining minutes."

Drivers may also keep track of where they parked by logging the exact location of their parking space. You can even snap a quick pic of the parking space and tag it to the note.
