Chobani pulls 'fizzy' yogurt from shelves
Company blames mold from Idaho facility
Last Updated: 98 days ago
Chobani is pulling some of its Greek yogurt off store shelves after consumers complained about it being fizzy and swelling in the cups.
The company is blaming the issue on a certain type of mold that came from an Idaho facility and says the affected product is less than 5 percent of its total production.
Chobani is working to remove and replace containers with the code 16-012 and the expiration dates Sept. 11, 2013 to Oct. 7, 2013.
The company says the yogurt poses no health hazard.
