Not for me. Here are a couple tried and true methods for eliminating the beasts.
Each night gophers open up ventilation holes to air out their runs. Early in the morning they cover them up. Find the freshest mound and stick a hose down inside. Keep an eye on surrounding holes. The gopher should emerge in a couple minutes. It's up to you how to take care of him from there. BBQ tongs work well to remove the gopher. Gophers are prey. If you make them believe there is a predator working nearby, they will flee. Place blood meal in each hole. One cup should do the trick. The gopher should leave. Used cat litter has a similar result. Use plenty. It's cheap. Good luck and happy hunting.
