Ask Carley: It's OK to have uneven number of bridesmaids, groomsmen

By CARLEY RONEY

Q: I have three bridesmaids and my fiancé has five groomsmen. Is this OK?

A: Yes. It's perfectly fine to have an uneven number of bridesmaids and groomsmen. If you're concerned about how it will look, stagger the guys in two rows. For the recessional, the first and last groomsmen can walk alone, or the entire wedding party can walk single file.
