Can't Miss San Diego: Things to do March 24 -26

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - This weekend is shaping up to be one full of festivals and running. But there's nothing wrong with that.

That just means more reason to indulge in the delicious foods at events this weekend.

The annual Mustache Bash is always a great time and music fans can hit up the San Diego Beatles Fair, Taco and Tequila Music Festival (Yum!), or San Diego Sings! Festival this weekend as well.

If you want to get moving, sign up for the Encinitas Half Marathon or Hot Chocolate 15K/5K (again, YUM) and go for your best time.

Here's a look at what you can't miss around San Diego this weekend.

Kia Classic @ Park Hyatt Aviara Golf Club - Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

The best LPGA golfers are in Carlsbad this weekend to compete for $1.8 million in the Kia Classic. Top-ranked Lydia Ko of New Zealand returns as the defending champion. Past winner Tiffany Joh, a graduate of Rancho Bernardo High School, is back trying to become the first two-time winner of the tournament. More information.

3rd annual Women's International Film Festival @ The Lot  Liberty Station -  Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

The film festival, hosted by the Women's Museum of California in San Diego, celebrates women's stories through film. The festival features the diversity of women's experiences around the world and gives independent female filmmakers a platform to showcase their work. More information.

Common @ The Observatory - Friday

Common's legendary hip-hop styling will be on full display Friday, where he will perform at The Observatory in North Park. Tickets are still available online. More information.

Wiggin Out for San Diego Seniors 5K @ Crown Point - Saturday

The annual 5K run and 1-mile walk will take place at Mission Bay's Crown Point Park and benefits San Diego's Meals on Wheels program. Awards will be given to the fastest male, fastest female, fastest kid (12 years and under), fastest older adult (65 and older), best wig, best-dressed dog, most spirited team and the biggest fundraiser. More information.

San Diego Sings! Festival @ Spreckles Organ Pavillion - Saturday

This free, all-day choral festival in Balboa Park features 22 San Diego area choirs performing individually and together under the direction of Dr. David Chase. Donations will be accepted for The Choral Consortium of San Diego. More information.

10th annual Mustache Bash @ The Port Pavilion on Broadway Pier - Saturday

The annual bash is a funk fiasco with panoramic views of the waterfront and San Diego. Come on down in your best mustache and 70s garb for some rockin' good tunes, good brews, and good times. More information.

San Diego Beatles Fair @ Queen Bee's in North Park - Saturday

This three-stage event takes place on Ohio Street in North Park and brings together multiple bands to celebrate the Fab Four. There's also a music market and plenty of kid-friendly opportunities to educate youngster on the legendary group. More information.

Taco & Tequila Music Festival @ Embarcadero Marina Park -  Saturday and Sunday

Enjoy two days packed with music, dancing, tacos, and tequila sampling. Sunday is dedicated to margaritas and there will be plenty of food and other drink options around. More information.

Encinitas Half Marathon - Sunday

Grab your running shoes, lace up, and head to Highway 101 for the Encinitas Half Marathon. Drinks, food, and awards are in store for participants. More information.

Hot Chocolate 15K/5K @ Petco Park - Sunday

Get running, get goodies, and get chocolate. Hit the pavement for your best time around Petco Park, all to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego. Oh, and there's a post-race party with more chocolate. Yum! More information.
