LOS ANGELES - Burger Lounge serves beef raised exclusively on grass from two family farm pastures, so it seems perfectly natural for them to introduce game meats with the same integrity, right?

Well they think so.
   
Dubbed the "Game Changer Burger Series," the heralded fast casual brand from Southern California is introducing limited time seasonal game burgers.

Grass-fed Bison, Wild Boar and Grass-fed Elk will rotate through in 60 day increments over the next 6 months at all 11 locations throughout San Diego and Los Angeles.
   
"Bison, boar and elk are all lean proteins with great taste profiles," J. Dean Loring CEO/President said.  It's a natural extension of our small menu which focuses on thoughtfully procured mostly organic and
sustainable ingredients."
   
Burger Lounge Game Changer Burger Series:

Grass-fed Bison: October 2013 - November 2013 $10.95 Served on the signature Lounge Bun with blue cheese, pickled onion, roasted garlic aioli. Gluten free bun or lettuce wrap optional.
   
Wild Boar: December 2013 - January 2014 $10.95 Served on the signature Lounge Bun with crispy onion rings, smoked mozzarella and house-made BBQ. Gluten free bun or lettuce wrap optional.
   
Grass-Fed Elk: February 2013 - March 2014 $10.95 Served on the signature Lounge Bun with jicama slaw, crispy pork belly, chipotle aioli. Gluten free bun or lettuce wrap optional.
 
In addition to these limited time offerings, Burger Lounge recently added a seared Wild Albacore Sandwich to the permanent menu. The Wild Albacore is seared to order and served with roasted tomato relish, baby watercress and lemon-basil aioli.
   
"The Albacore Sandwich offers a clean taste with a great juxtaposition of flavor and textures," explains Loring.  "We felt that the menu needed a protein option that offered true health benefits both as a sandwich and an addition to our salads."
