10News honors Sharon Julien for creating a not-for-profit mentor program called Reviving Our Society Effectively (ROSE) with the goal of revolutionizing the face of destiny within the urban community of San Diego.

Julien has been an excellent motivator to those she help. Her one of a kind personality and creativity has led to positive changes in the lives of others by providing motivation and improvement of self esteem. Most of the people that she works with do not have positive role models in their lives and lack encouragement and her presence in their lives has impacted their lives positively.

Julien has sacrificed her time and money to organize many ROSE events as well as open up her home to listen, give advice and provide food and shelter to those who need her help.

Julien continues to spread her support and inspiration to those in need. To this day, her dedication has inspired at least one hundred individuals to greatness, catapulting many to their destinies. Julien has reached out to the homeless, women’s rehabilitation centers, young adults as well as married couples by giving them hope and providing a backbone for support.
