SAN DIEGO -- A man accused in the death of 23-year-old Dane Williams over a year ago was not well-known in his neighborhood, 10News reported.Philong Huynh lived in City Heights, but most neighbors 10News talked to said they had never seen him.Huynh's upstairs neighbor, Hung Phan, said he would see Hyunh from time to time, but said, "He don't speak. You say 'hi' and he don't say 'hi,'" said Phan.
Across the street, Jenny Lam has lived in the same house for 20 years and had never seen Hyunh. When informed he had been arrested for murder, she was shocked."Oh my God," Lam said. "And he lived on this street?"Hyunh's next door neighbor, who didn't want to be identified, did know him and was shocked."He was a nice guy, a quiet guy. How could you expect something like this? It's devastating," the neighbor said.Although most neighbors didn't know Hyunh, several said they were glad he had been arrested. One woman said she thought about Dane Williams constantly and was hoping for this day.
