Alejandra Cerball is a reporter for 10News. She joined the team in April 2009.

Among other stories, she covered the April 2010 7.2 quake in Mexicali and flew onto the USS Carl Vinson before it arrived at its new home port in San Diego.

Before joining 10News, Alejandra worked at NBC Yuma affiliate KYMA-TV, where she anchored midday newscasts and also served as a general assignment reporter for the station.

She also served as a board member for Adult Literacy Plus of Southwest Arizona, a non-profit organization that provides tutoring for basic literacy and English as a second language.

Alejandra is currently a member of Mana de San Diego. She is part of the planning committee for “Latina Success,” an annual conference with a variety of topics ranging from finance, leadership, and health.

Alejandra has a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Psychology from California State University, Northridge. She is fluent in Spanish and a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
