SAN DIEGO -- A new father is thousands of miles away from his wife and newborn child. The couple hoped to be sharing precious images from their wedding day, but unfortunately, that didn't happen.Joanne Conway upset because she paid $3,300 upfront for photos and a video from her wedding, and ended up with nothing.
The photographer disappeared along with the once-in-a-lifetime wedding pictures.Conway's repeated calls to the photographer continue to go unanswered. If not for the snapshots her aunt took, Conway wouldn't have any images of her special day.Wedding photographer Felix Senquiz is the man that took her money.10News went to look for Felix where he works, but his 'office' was nothing more than a mailbox drop at the U.S. Post Office in San Ysidro.Senquiz is listed as a preferred provider at the Handlery Hotel and Resort, but the hotel says he just pays for advertising. They say they have nothing to do with Senquiz.Senquiz pays the Handlery to be on its preferred provider list.He also got business at the Marine Corps Exchange at Miramar, but they dumped him when they found him using their letterhead on his contracts.Something similar happened at David's Bridal where they made him leave when he didn't pay his bills. The businesses refused to talk on camera, wishing only to distance themselves from the missing wedding photographer. In the meantime, Joanne Conway only wants one thing -- her pictures and video.10News left several messages offering to pick up the raw film and videotape from Conway's wedding, but did not get a response.
