Zamora was convicted of forgery, grand theft, embezzlement and financial elder abuse. He apologized to his victims in a downtown San Diego court. Before Judge Kathleen Lewis passed sentence, one of his victims addressed the court. "I'm a senior; I'm disabled and he took all the money I had left for a home," Joel Watkins said.In addition to his stint in prison, Zamora was ordered to pay back more than $100,000 to his victims.
