Police: Man stabbed to death at family gathering in Oceanside

OCEANSIDE, Calif. - Oceanside police on Wednesday are investigating a stabbing that left one man dead.
The stabbing occurred just before 8 p.m. in front of a condo in the 400 block of Los Arbolitos Boulevard. Police said it happened during a family gathering.
The stabbing victim was a 35-year-old man from Las Vegas. Police said the victim's cousin, a 24-year-old woman from Memphis, is suspected in the stabbing.
When officers arrived on scene, they found the victim lying in the grass suffering from stab wounds.
Officers performed CPR on the man. He was transported to Palomar Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Police said the cousin is being questioned and that investigation is ongoing.
