SAN DIEGO - Relatives of a Carlsbad teenager, who went missing after video of a fight at Carlsbad High School surfaced online, said she has been found safe.

Family members of 14-year-old Baileigh Karam said she was located in the local area and is currently speaking with counselors.

In the cellphone video posted on Facebook, Karam is seen being struck repeatedly by a classmate as a crowd of students watched, cheered and recorded the incident on their cellphones. Karam is also heard several times begging her attacker to stop.

Karam was reporting missing last Friday, when the video first appeared online.

Karam's mother said she warned the school her daughter was being bullied.
