Well, it's been a long haul it seems, but I am very pleased to say that I have lost a total of 28.5 pounds within 6 1/2 weeks. I feel great. I have gone from 227 pounds to 198.5 pounds. My friends think I look super. I can eat a lot of different foods now that I'm on a regular diet. I still have to stay away from all of the junk food, which is really hard, but I'm winning the war!

Exercising has been a little harder to keep up with other than my dance class, but, of course, I'll get that war won soon too.

I really recommend this surgery to anyone who has weight issues they can't handle and have tried many other things. It has really helped my self esteem and boosted my confidence.

Thanks to all of my friends at KGTV San Diego for telling my story.

I'm doing a lot better now at four weeks post-op. I have lost another four pounds and I feel great!! Finally, I had that turkey sandwich, minus the bread, but it was worth the wait. I'm now on a full solid diet for Bariatric. Last Sunday was my 17th birthday, so I had a pool party. Everybody noticed how much weight I've lost. They all said I look great. I said wait until mid-summer, then check me out. Look out stores -- I'm on my way to a new wardrobe!

I have being doing great! I have lost 3 pounds since my check up last Tuesday. I have been able to eat soft foods like fruit, Cream of Wheat, yogurt and fruit smoothies. I can't wait to eat that turkey sandwich next week -- I thought it was this week. It's getting easier as time progress. I'm also looking forward to losing more weight!

I have lost a total of 15 (pounds) so far. It has been a little difficult not being able to eat anything, but as the weeks progress I'm able to eat a little of soft solids. Today, I'll have Cream of Wheat, kind of watered down for dinner. Hopefully, next week I can have a turkey sandwich.
