Acidulated water is water to which a small amount of an acid, such as lemon, lime, or orange juice, has been added. Dip fruits, such as apples and pears, in this liquid to prevent their cut surfaces from darkening when they are exposed to air.
Paulette Mitchell, a culinary instructor, television personality, spokesperson, freelance food writer, and the award-winning author of 13 cookbooks, is known internationally for her quick-to-prepare recipes with gourmet flair.
