SAN DIEGO -- Campers are waking up once again in one of the California's state campgrounds damaged by the October wildfires. The Green Valley Campground in Cuyamaca Rancho State Park reopened Friday, 10News reported.Although only eight of the 81 campsites are being occupied, it is a sign that business is slowly returning to normal again, which is good news to the Julian Chamber Of Commerce.
"The businesses have felt the impact. We all breathed a sigh of relief when they announced the camp was reopening," said Chamber Of Commerce member Nancy Greenwood.Only 30 percent of the trails in the state park have reopened because many areas are still considered dangerous. The cost of restoring trails and removing and replanting trees in scorched county parks is estimated at $15
