Pilot Program Using Goats To Clear Brush

SAN DIEGO -- Goats could soon help the city of San Diego with brush management, 10News reported.
The San Diego City Council is considering a pilot program to use herds of goats to munch away the brush that can fuel another firestorm.
A demonstration project began last week in Tierrasanta. Other areas of town are being considered.The goats are able to do the work that humans do at a cost of about $5,000 an acre.
