SAN DIEGO -- The City Council is looking over the city's fire report to see what went right and what went wrong during the Cedar Fire, 10News reported.
Council members said there is no question the city is in need of additional equipment and upgraded alert systems.
The Council is also working fast to change building codes, specifically a ban of the use of wood beams, shake-shingle roofs, and wooden property-line fences for new homes.
The City Council is expected to vote on approving the city manager's fire report.
The Council will then come up with an action plan sometime next month.
