Mall Shoppers To Get Day-Care Option

POSTED: 9:06 am PST January 19, 2007

Shoppers at an Iowa mall will soon be able to drop off their children at day care in the shopping center, television station KCCI reported.

Jack's Bear Drop-In Playcare and Activity Center will open across from Costco at the Jordan Creek Mall and provide child care kids who are 6 weeks old to 12 years old.

Children can play on a multipurpose gymnasium and a stage. There's a movie room, a music room, climbing areas and a cantina where parents can preorder meals and snacks for their children.

Annual memberships to Jack's Bear are available for a monthly fee of $55, which includes the first 16 hours of child care per month. Nonmembers are also welcome.
