Pop star Selena Gomez appeared to take a swipe at Miley Cyrus while talking between songs at a recent concert.
Gomez, 21, a former Disney star, found fame by being a "good girl" and that's what she aims to project.
Cyrus, who most recently made headlines because of her scantily clad attire in her "Wrecking Ball" video, has been both praised and ridiculed for pushing the envelope.
That's not an approach Gomez says she will take.
"I get it all day every day that I'm not sexy enough," Gomez said. "Let me tell you one thing. The sexiest thing, I think, actually I know, is class, and that's it."
The good girl image hasn't hurt Gomez's career.
"Selena embracing her wholesomeness has not hurt her popularity yet, and that's the message she's sending," Carlos Greer, a reporter for People Magazine, told ABC News. "You can actually wear clothes and act your age."
Gomez's latest video, "Come Get It," shakes the wholesome teen image, but she is clothed.
"Each and every one of you are made to be who you are, and that's what is so attractive and beautiful," Gomez told concertgoers.
