Kanye West accused of punching man

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - Beverly Hills police sought Kanye West for allegedly punching an 18-year-old man who upset girlfriend Kim Kardashian by his repeated using of the "N" word as he tried to help her get through a swarm of photographers and into a chiropractor's office Monday.

Police went to an office in the 8800 block of Wilshire Blvd. about 12:15 p.m. to take a report on "a misdemeanor battery that just occurred at the location," according to statement issued by police.

West, who is facing an assault charge for allegedly roughing up a photographer at Los Angeles International Airport, had left by the time an officer arrived.

According to TMZ.com, Kardashian was trying to into the office of chiropractor Richard Hill when she was swarmed by photographers. An unidentified 18-year-old man tried to help her get into the building,
screaming, "F---k these fa--ot-ass n----rs," referring to the photographers.

Kardashian objected to the language, and the man responded by calling her a "n----- lover," prompting her to call West, TMZ reported.

West walked in moments later and allegedly punched the man, prompting a massage therapist in the office to separate the two, according to TMZ.
