Art takes the stage at Del Mar's KAABOO festival

(KGTV) - San Diegans already expect KAABOO to rock Del Mar Fairgrounds this year with their list of headliners, but bands aren't the only acts on display.

KAABOO's bustling art scene will be out in full force, with a variety of local and internationally-renowned artists being featured. Live mural creations and exhibition galleries will be held in various areas of the fairgrounds as music fills the air.

The duo goes by "Bicicleta sem Freio," or "Bicycle without brake" in English, were inspired by rock posters before becoming internationally famous for their hand-drawn designs and large-scale installations.

Carly Ealey

Carly Ealey is based right here in San Diego and is set to paint live at KAABOO this year. Her work will be created on a permanent structure at Del Mar Fairgrounds near the Trestles Stage.
