Jailed 'Austin Powers' actor, Joseph Son, charged with killing cellmate at Wasco State Prison

Son already serving life sentence for 1990 rape

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A jailed actor best known for his role in a spy movie spoof has faced a Kern County judge for the first time.

Joseph Son played Dr. Evil's shoe-throwing henchman Random Task in the "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery" movie, KERO-TV reorted.

He's now accused of killing his Wasco prison cellmate, Thomas Graham, two years ago.

Son arrived at Wasco in September 2011 to serve out a life sentence for a 1990 gang rape in Orange County.

A month after arriving, prison officials found his 50-year-old cellmate dead in their quarters.
