Stars Wars filming heading to Britain

The new STAR WARS shoot is returning to the U.K. after producers struck a deal with top British politician GEORGE OSBORNE.
Disney has taken control of George Lucas' cult franchise and filming on the seventh movie in the series starts later this year (13).
But, rather than filming in a galaxy far, far away, the movie will be mostly shot in England. The deal comes after Britain's finance minister, Chancellor of the Exchequer Osborne, agreed to put a series of tax breaks in place for movie bosses.
A statement from Kathleen Kennedy, Lucasfilm president, reads, "We've devoted serious time and attention to revisiting the origins of Star Wars as inspiration for our process on the new movie, and I'm thrilled that returning to the U.K. for production and utilising the incredible talent there can be a part of that."
Osborne adds, "Today's announcement that the next Star Wars film will be shot and produced in the U.K. is great news for fans and our creative industries, and it is clear evidence that our incentives are attracting the largest studios back to the U.K."
The original trilogy of films were shot partly in the U.K., while the revived three prequels used locations in Britain and Australia.
