Republican rocker KID ROCK put politics aside to assure U.S. President BARACK OBAMA there were "no hard feelings" when they met on Saturday (01Dec12).
The Cowboy hitmaker was an outspoken supporter of the Democrat's rival Mitt Romney in the lead-up to the 2012 presidential election, and even let the Republican candidate use his track Born Free as his campaign anthem.
Romney lost the race to the White House last month (Nov12), but Rock was keen to have a good time with Obama when they met at the Kennedy Center Honors in Washington, D.C. this weekend (01-02Dec12).
After the event, Rock told CNN, "It was nice. I saw the president tonight. He said, 'I'm still here.' I said, 'No hard feelings.'
"You cross your fingers, you try to move forward, you hope for the best. You respect the office of the president of the United States, and the great thing is in four years, we get to choose again."
