COLDPLAY's New Year's Eve (31Dec12) show in New York became a family affair for frontman CHRIS MARTIN as he rang in 2013 on stage with his wife GWYNETH PALTROW and their children.

The Yellow hitmakers teamed up with rapper Jay-Z for the end of year concert at Brooklyn's Barclays Center, and Martin ensured his loved ones were nearby as midnight approached.

Martin belted out Auld Lang Syne after the clock struck 12 and his actress wife ran out in front of the crowd to hug the singer and their two children, son Moses and daughter Apple, who were watching the gig from the back of the stage.

Jay-Z also teamed up with the British band for their track Lost+, and the rapper headlined his own show at the venue after midnight.

Stars including Christina Aguilera, Harry Styles and Cheryl Cole were spotted in the audience at the concert.
