Actress Ashley Judd may be making a Senate run in Kentucky.
She'll have the tough task of unseating Republican leader Mitch McConnell, one of the country's most powerful senators in the reliably red state.
Judd, a loyal Barack Obama supporter and an international humanitarian, is eager to take her activism to a new level.
Judd currently does not reside in Kentucky, but she could move there in the 20 months before the next elections.
