Professor Wrestling: The 'WrestleMania 22' Contest

Readers Pick, Win

Listen up!

Class is in session.

This week, it's the return of our mega-popular contest where you pick the winners of "WrestleMania 22."

The rules are as simple as Eugene's pea brain: You pick the winners and the finishes of the big matches in Chicago on April 2. The students who get the most right (there will be ties) are then entered into a drawing for the big prize -- a nifty WWE DVD of some kind, plus some other junk I can fit into a padded mailer.

This card is subject to change, so I'm going to go with the matches listed below. In the case of the "Money In The Bank" match, there's still one participant to be named -- so if you pick him, I'll honor that choice. I will not add matches that are added to the card in the next few weeks. Again: MAKE SURE YOU INCLUDE THE FINISH. That'll be the tiebreaker. It's not enough just to say, "HHH will pin Cena." You also have to include how he did it. For example: "HHH will pin Cena clean after he hits him with the sledgehammer while the ref was distracted." Or: "Edge will beat Foley due to interference from Lita." Specifics in the finish -- that's what I'm looking for.

Also, I will not accept entries that do not include a mailing address. If I don't know where to send the prize, it does you no good to enter. Don't make me chase you down!

OK, enough of that. If you have the guts, and the uncanny intelligence that I exhibit week in and week out, then tell me who is going to win the following sports entertainment contests:

Hardcore Match: Edge vs. Mick Foley

Casket Match: Undertaker vs. Mark Henry

Challenge Match: Vincent K. McMahon vs. Shawn Michaels

Money In The Bank Match: Shelton Benjamin vs. Ric Flair vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Finley vs. Matt Hardy vs. TBA

U.S. Title Match: Chris Benoit (c) vs. John Bradshaw Layfield

World Tag Team Championship Match: Big Show and Kane (c) vs. Chris Masters and Carlito

World Heavyweight Championship Match: Kurt Angle (c) vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Randy Orton

WWE Championship Match : John Cena (c) vs. Hunter Hearst Helmsley

That's it. Eight matches for you to ponder, eight matches for you to call. And yes, I will announce the winner in this column, as that person will be given a seat in the very front of the class.

How do you enter? By e-mailing me right here. It's that simple. Remember: Winners, finishes, and your mailing address. That's all I need. Good luck!

Now scram! Class dismissed!
