Police Say Julie Pacino Admitted To Drinking, Smoking Pot

The 21-year-old daughter of actor Al Pacino has been arrested on a drunken driving charge in New York City.Julie Pacino was taken into custody at 1:35 a.m. Saturday after driving her black Mercedes Benz through a DUI checkpoint in Manhattan."She had bloodshot, watery eyes, slurred speech and the strong smell of alcohol on her breath," Officer James Duffy, quoting the police report, told People.com. "She admitted to drinking three beers and smoking marijuana prior to entering the checkpoint."
Al Pacino rushed back from Los Angeles, where he has been filming a Phil Spector biopic, following the arrest.Julie Pacino was arraigned Saturday afternoon and released on her own recognizance.
