Method
Place beef sirloin strips in a bowl with soy sauce and corn starch. Mix well and reserve. Heat oil in a saute pan or wok. Add garlic and onion, cook briefly. Add marinated beef strips and brown over high heat. Add broccoli and mushrooms, continue to cook for 2 minutes. Add stock and bring to a simmer. Sauce will thicken. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer to a warm serving platter and garnish with sesame seeds and micned scallions. Serve with steamed rice.
