SAN DIEGO -- A cast member of MTV's "Real World San Diego" was arrested early Wednesday morning outside of a Pacific Beach bar.

According to police document, Robin Hibbard, 23, was standing in line at a bar on the 800 block of Garnet Avenue when she got into an altercation with a man.

According to police, Hibbard did not agree with something the man said and allegedly punched him in the shoulder.

Hibbard later returned to the bar to speak to the man when he turned his back to her, she allegedly scratched him in the back of the neck.

The man placed Hibbard under citizen's arrest and held her until the San Diego police officers took her into custody.

Hibbard was taken to Las Colinas Women's Detention Center and booked on battery charges. Bail was set at $8,000.

MTV refused to comment on the situation.

MTV is currently filming "Real World San Diego," which is scheduled to premiere January 2004.
