There's an easy solution for disappointing movies that need a little livening up: Just add zombies.

Especially with Halloween approaching, there isn't a movie out there that couldn't use an undead, brain-eating character or two ... or hundreds of millions.

After all, it did wonders for "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies," the best-selling mashup combining Jane Austen's classic novel with a heaping helping of the undead. There's even a film adaptation starring Natalie Portman in the works.

So why not make other stories better by adding zombies?

Zombies bring action, blood, brains and, well, more blood. What movie wouldn't be improved with a liberal dosing of those ingredients?

The answer is none. But we think these five are a good place to start as any.
