Official Contest Rules

You must agree to the rules in order to enter the contest.

1. No Purchase Necessary: No purchase or payment of any money is necessary to enter. Purchase will not improve the chances of winning. All federal, state and/or local rules and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law.

2. Eligibility: Legal U.S. Residents 18 years of age and older are eligible to enter. Employees of KGTV, The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. (“The McGraw-Hill Companies”), Internet Broadcast, Inc. (“IB”), and AEG Live are not eligible to participate (collectively “Sponsors.)

3. How To Enter: Enter this contest from Monday, November 17th, 2008 at 11 pm through 9:00 AM Monday, November 24th, 2008. To enter, watch 10News at 11 p.m. Monday through Friday to learn the “Dance of the Day.” After learning the dance of the day and prior to 11:00 PM the following day, go to www.10News.com to select the correct dance step in the “Dancing with the Stars – The Tour” contest section. Only one Entry per email address per day will be accepted. The sponsors are not responsible for late, misdirected or illegible entries.

4. Limitations: Regardless of whether more than one person uses the same email address, only one Entry will be accepted from one e-mail address during any given day. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting the on-line Entry, the Entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the e-mail account is registered. Any use of automated or programmed methods of effective Entry on-line is prohibited.

5. Prize(s): The Daily Prize will be two tickets to the “Dancing with the Stars – The Tour” show on December 17th in San Diego, as well as a 10News gift basket including a VIP tour for four (4) of the studios. One Daily Prize will be awarded each weekday beginning Wednesday, November 19th through Monday, November 24th 2008. Approximate retail value of each Daily Prize: $225.00. The Grand Prize will include four (4) Premium seats at a table on the floor for the show on December 17th, 2008 in San Diego. The Grand Prize winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries on Monday, November 24th, 2008. Approximate retail value of Grand Prize: $925.00.

6. Prize Conditions: Winners must meet all eligibility requirements. Prizes are supplied by 10News and AEG Live. Prizes are not redeemable for cash or transferable. No substitutions allowed, except, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, a prize of equal or greater value may be substituted. Winners are responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes and fees, plus any other incidentals. Prizes must be redeemed by adults over 18. Winners will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release form prior to receipt of a prize. The winner will be required to waive any and all claims against The McGraw-Hill Companies, IB, AEG Live and their respective affiliates, employees, agents, and representatives for any loss which may occur from participation in the contest or from the receipt or use of the prize. Non-compliance will result in disqualification and forfeit of prize.

7. How to Win: After learning the “Dance of the Day” in 10News at 11:00 PM, viewers must log on to www.10News.com and select the correct dance step in the “Dancing with the Stars – The Tour” contest section by 11:00 PM the following day. One (1) Daily Winner will be awarded each weekday. In the event that more than one Entrant provides the correct answer, one winner will be selected at random from all eligible Entries. The Grand Prize winner will be randomly selected from the pool of correct entries collected November 19th, 2008 through November 24th, 2008.

8. Daily Winners: Daily Winners will be notified by telephone by 5:00 p.m. each day. Winners will be confirmed by phone between November 19th, 2008 and November 24th, 2008.

9. Grand Prize Winner: Grand Prize winner will be notified on Monday, November 24th 2008 by 5:00 PM. Disqualification and the automatic forfeiture of the Grand Prize will result from any of the following: (1) failure of a potential Winner to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability/Publicity Release upon prize redemption; (2) in the event the notification of the prize award is undeliverable by telephone; (3) inability of potential Grand Prize Winner to attend the “Dancing with the Stars – The Tour” show on December 17th; and (4) any other non-compliance with Rules. If the Grand Prize is forfeited by a potential Winner, another winner will be selected at random from all remaining eligible entries. All Federal state and local taxes are solely the Winner’s responsibility.

10. Odds: Odds of winning will depend upon number of eligible entries received.

11. Prize Redemption: Winners must pick up Prize in person at 10News Studios, 4600 Air Way, San Diego, CA 92102 during regular business hours and provide 10News with appropriate picture identification (Valid Driver’s License, ID or passport). All entries become the sole property of The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. All Winners will be required to give The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. his/her social security number, legal name, age, current address, and phone number for tax record keeping purposes only. All prizes must be claimed and redeemed by 5:00 PM on Friday, December 5, 2008 or the prize redemption is forfeited.

12. Conditions: Each entrant, by entering this Contest agrees that: (1) he/she will abide by and be bound by the Rules and the Sponsor’s decisions, which shall be final and non-appealable; (2) the Entry becomes solely the Sponsor’s property and will not be returned; (3) the Winner agrees to release and hold harmless the Entities, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives of responsibility for any claims, injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting from Contest participation; the awarding, acceptance, use, misuse, possession, loss or misdirection of the prize; participation in any prize related activity; or from computer downloading any Sweepstakes information; (4) Winner’s acceptance of the Daily Prize, or Grand Prize constitutes the grant of an unconditional right to use Winner’s name, address (city and state only), voice, likeness, photograph, biographical and prize information and/or statements about the promotion for any publicity, advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, in any media, worldwide, in perpetuity, except where prohibited by law; (5) in the event the online portion of this Contest becomes technically corrupted in any way, electronically or otherwise, such that it cannot be conducted as originally planned, the Sponsor has the right to cancel, terminate or suspend the online portion of the Contest, and in such event, to select a Winner by random drawing from among all eligible Entries received up to such time of cancellation, termination or suspension; (6) any portion of the Daily Prize, or Grand Prize not accepted will be forfeited; (7) sponsor is not responsible for the inability of the Winners to accept the Daily Prize, or the Grand Prize for any reason.

13. Disputes: By entering, each Entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of the judges. Any dispute regarding the sweepstakes or these rules will be resolved by a panel of judges from The McGraw-Hills Companies, Inc. and their decision shall be final.
