Lohan's Dad Sorry For Ripping Ronson

Star's Father Says He's Christian, Shouldn't Pass Judgment

Lindsay Lohan's father, Michael Lohan, is apologizing for remarks about his daughter's Lohah's gal pal, Samantha Ronson.

According to New York magazine, Michael Lohan said at a Oct. 21 book party, "I definitely regret all the things I said about Samantha. I'm a Christian. I should not pass judgment on anyone."

The magazine said that in September, Michael Lohan e-mailed a gossip Website and called Ronson a "dark, hideous, and a disgusting representation of humanity." In response, Lindsay Lohan called her father "a coward" on her MySpace blog.

After months of media speculation, Lindsay Lohan confirmed for a Los Angeles radio station that she and Ronson had been dating "for a very long time."

In his apology, Michael Lohan said in the past, he thought the best way to reach out to his daughter was to do it publicly. Now he calls it "the wrong choice."

Lindsay Lohan, 22, has starred in such films as "Freaky Friday," "Mean Girls" and "A Prairie Home Companion," and in a guest role this season on the sitcom "Ugly Betty."

Michael Lohan said in the New York magazine article that he's since reached out to his daughter after the public rift over Ronson and that they are speaking.
