Parent Says Teacher Touched Daughter Inappropriately

Another parent has come forward and told 10News that her daughter was touched inappropriately by a Lakeside teacher.

"My heart sank; I got chills all over my body," the woman said.

The woman told 10News that the same teacher, accused of touching several girls and photographing their body parts last week, also touched her daughter's breasts while helping her get out of a truck.

"It certainly wasn't called for," the woman said.

The alleged incident happened three years ago, when her daughter was 12 years old. The woman said she reported it to the school's principal but he did nothing. She said she now regrets not going to the police.

"We went to the principal instead of going elsewhere. We spoke to him about it as a parent, as parents … told our story and he immediately excused the teacher and made excuses for the teacher," the woman said.

The teacher's name is not being revealed because charges have not been filed. He is currently on administrative leave pending an investigation by the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.

"This man started crossing the line three years ago and evidently he's continuing to cross the line today and go further and further. We need to stop him before it gets too late," said the woman.

The case is now being handled by the sheriff's department's Child Abuse Unit.

A detective said there have now been four reports made against the teacher.
