SAN DIEGO -- A San Diego-area professor told 10News she took provocative pictures in order to build self confidence, but never imagined where they'd end up.Aned Gracia said photographer Rocky Forgoson took modeling pictures of her in 2001. However, she claimed Forgoson manipulated the pictures and posted them on the Internet. Gracia said she believes there are more victims."Because he's disabled and he makes people feel sorry about him," said Gracia.
Gracia said she allowed Forgoson to take pictures of her while she was still in graduate school."I would have never even stepped inside that studio had I had any reason to believe anything like this would happen," said Gracia. "He was obsessed."10News asked Gracia why she allowed him to take racy pictures of her."Why did you take those pictures in the first place?" asked 10News' Charisse Yu."I was working on my professional vocational photographer degree ... I was expecting it to be an educational environment," said Gracia. She said it is normal for a photographer to model in order to learn techniques like lighting. She also said it was a way for her to break out of her shell."I've been a little bit of a nerd for most of my life, and I was shy," said Gracia.10News learned that Forgoson has done this before. In 1992, another model with a similar story filed a restraining order against him.Gracia's attorney, Dan Gilleon, said, "What Forgoson was doing the entire time was arguing with the judge, showing no remorse whatsoever and actually telling the judge his order was stupid."A jury found Forgoson guilty on six counts of violating a restraining order.A judge ordered Forgoson to take down the pictures of Gracia. He will also serve three years probation with psychological help. If he violates his probation, he could face up to six years in jail.
