Cincinnati, OH -- (Sports Network) - Rashad Bishop scored a career-best 20 points to lead the Cincinnati Bearcats in a 92-68 trouncing over the Toledo Rockets in a non-league affair at Fifth Third Arena. Lance Stephenson chipped in with 16 points for Cincinnati (2-0). Yancy Gates added 14 points in the win, while Deonta Vaughn scored 13 and dished out nine assists. Jake Barnett paced Toledo (0-2) with a game-high 21 points, while Stephen Albrecht tallied 19 and Justin Anyijong finished with 10. Cincinnati jumped out to a 17-3 lead less than five minutes into the game, and the Bearcats took a 49-33 advantage into the break. The Rockets climbed to within eight on a jumper by Albrecht with 14 minutes remaining, but Cincinnati answered with a 13-0 run over the next two minutes and change to take control. Cincinnati had 27 assists against only 10 turnovers for the game, compared to a 12-16 assist-turnover ratio for Toledo.
