POSTED: 11:30 pm PDT April 11, 2008

(Sports Network) - Centenary named Greg Gary its new men's basketball coach on Friday.

Gary replaces Rob Flaska, whose contract wasn't renewed following this past season. The Gents finished this past season with a 10-21 overall mark and a 4-14 record in the Summit League.

Gary comes to Centenary directly from Duquesne and has 15 years of NCAA Division I coaching experience. In his one season at Duquesne, Gary was part of coach Ron Everhart's staff that led the Dukes to their first winning season since 1993-94 with a 17-13 record.

Prior to Duquesne, Gary spent four years at South Florida (2004-07) and four more years at Miami (2000-04) in the Big East.
