South Dakota's rebate program to help residents replace older, inefficient appliances with energy-efficient appliances is now closed.
The state was offering mail-in rebates toward the purchase of Energy Star-qualified appliances. The program began March 1 and was closed April 12 after all the rebates were claimed.

- Refrigerators - $150
- Freezers - $150
- Clothes washers - $100
- Water heaters - $125
