"What I enjoy most about my job is learning something different every day I meet new people, see new placesthat's very rewarding."Hal Clement goes the extra mile to discover something new, whether it involves traveling with the first American baseball team to visit China, or uncovering unfamiliar parts of San Diego. Hal's stories are not likely to be seen anywhere else. That's one reason why the popular anchor has won 13 local Emmy awards and 4 Southern California Golden Mike awards for his news coverage.Hal takes great pride in writing, editing, and compiling news stories, and he brings the same dedication to serving the San Diego community. He has been involved with the United Way, San Diego Burn Institute, and the Parkinson's Association. Hal has hosted the San Diego Hospice Annual "Light Up A Life" event for several years and has also co-hosted The Children's Hospital Miracle Network Telethon. Hal's wife, Patty, is a bereavement counselor. They have two daughters: Stacey and Brooke. When Hal finds free time, he enjoys riding horses, golfing and whitewater rafting.
