Travis Rice is a reporter and multimedia journalist for 10News.
Before coming to San Diego, Travis worked as a reporter and fill-in anchor for three years at WCBD in Charleston, SC. During his time there, he covered dozens of national stories including the Charleston church shooting, the Walter Scott case and Hurricane Matthew.
Travis began his television career as a producer and assignment desk editor at KNBC in Los Angeles.
A graduate of Drake University, Travis has degrees in Journalism and English.
Travis was born in Oceanside, but grew up in Westlake Village just northwest Los Angeles.
As a native Californian, Travis is exceedingly grateful to be back in his home state after years of humidity and bug bites in South Carolina.
When he's not searching for stories, Travis is cycling, playing guitar or drafting up non sequiturs.
