Sagay Galindo is a native of Chesapeake, Va.  Her education began at Norfolk State University where she received a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication and a minor in physics.  She then attended Mississippi State University where she obtained a Master's Degree in Broadcast Meteorology.

While in Mississippi she was a member of the severe storm intercept team where she chased all types of weather from hurricanes, tornadoes, and even snow chasing.  

A year after graduating from Mississippi State Sagay worked at WIS-TV in Columbia, S.C., where she covered ice storms, tornadoes, and hurricanes.  She also worked at WWBT/NBC 12 in Richmond, Va.

Prior to joining 10 News Pinpoint Weather Team Sagay worked in her hometown at WAVY-TV in Portsmouth, Va.  

In addition to weather Sagay enjoys spending time with her two little girls and husband who is a member of the US Navy.
